Enamel Pin Grading Guide
Enamel pins are handmade items and natural variations can occur during the production process. As such, they are rarely 100% free of flaws. (ᴗ_ ᴗ )
All my pins are carefully quality-checked by me and are categorized into 2 grades:
Standard Grade pins are generally free of major flaws, but may still come with minor imperfections.
Some examples of imperfections include (but not limited to):
- Small scratches
- Polish marks
- Small dots or bubbles
- Slightly uneven fills
- Minor discoloration
- Minor imperfection in screenprinting
- Minor imperfection in the metal craft or plating
B-Grade pins have more noticeable flaws including those listed above. Some examples include (but not limited to):
- Smudges, specks or stain on the enamel and metal
- Large low fill areas
- Oxidisation of the metal
Please note that B-Grade pins do not ship with backing cards.
- This store does not offer the perfect grade or collector's grade pins -
